You will be able to choose the amount of instances for this particular upgrade, in other words how many different websites/platforms will make use of Node.js at the same time, and you can add as many instances as you require. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to set the exact location of your .js application and to choose whether you will use a dedicated IP or the physical server’s shared one. Accessing Node.js will be possible through a random port allocated by our cloud hosting system. Also, you can stop or restart any instance that you have added, change the path to the .js app or check the output of the active instances with only a couple of clicks of the mouse from your web hosting Control Panel via a rather easy-to-use GUI.
Node.js in Semi-dedicated Hosting
You will be able to use Node.js for any real-time script-driven web app running in a semi-dedicated server account, as the Node.js platform is offered with all our semi-dedicated server hosting plans and you can get it with only a couple of mouse clicks. In case you’d like to use it for multiple Internet sites, you can order more instances from the Upgrades section of your Hepsia Control Panel. The setup is as easy as inserting the path to your .js file and selecting if Node.js should use a dedicated IP or any of the server’s shared IP addresses, so you can take advantage of Node.js even if you’ve got no previous experience with similar software. Our system will also specify a randomly generated port which will be used to access the .js file for the specific application. Hepsia has an intuitive graphical interface that will allow you to reboot and to delete any of your active instances, to add new ones or to check the output of your applications with just one single click.

All VPS web hosting packages that are ordered with our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel come with Node.js as standard and you can take advantage of this event-driven platform for each script-driven software app that you host on the Virtual Private Server. Since we have not put a limitation on the amount of instances that you can add, you can make use of the power of our VPS servers and combine it with the full capacity of Node.js. The configuration is done via the Hepsia Control Panel’s intuitive, point ‘n’ click graphical interface, so even if you aren’t technically proficient, you will not have any obstacles while working with the Node.js platform. You’ll only need to enter the folder path in the VPS account to the .js file that will use Node.js and to choose whether it will use a shared or a dedicated IP. Node.js comes with all dedicated servers hosting on which our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is installed. The latter has an amazingly simple and easy-to-use graphical interface, so even if you have not worked with Node.js before, you will be able to uncover its true potential in just a few simple steps. Once you have uploaded the application’s content, you will need to define the folder path to the respective .js files that will use Node.js and to select the IP which they’ll use (dedicated or shared), whereas our system will designate a random port that will be used to access the files in question. There isn’t any limitation on the total amount of instances that you can create and use at the same time and you’ll exert full control over them via the Hepsia Control Panel – you will be able to activate new ones or to terminate/reboot existing ones, to view the output log for each app, and so on.
